The first part evaluates the current situation of the housing stock of the Czech Republic and the availability of housing. It focuses on rental housing including its legislation. The second part deals with own housing needs, in which the cost of attainment of rental and owner-occupied housing is compared. This part is focused on Brno and its city district Brno-Líšeň. The whole analysis of the solution of both forms of housing is carried out on a model example. The result is a comparison and selection of a better option for future housing. Detailed record
